Tooth Decay and Canal Treatment

In case when mouth is not fully cared for, with accumulation of bacteria plaque, rich in microorganism, soft and sticky layer forming on the surface of the teeth the structure of the tooth enamel is affected and tooth decay is formed. If tooth decay is not treated on time, then root canal treatment is required.

If tooth decay is determined in the beginning, only decayed parts of the tooth is cleaned, and filling can be applied to the missing parts. This method can be completed in one session and can be prepared in the laboratory and fixed to the tooth. First affected nerve tissue and canal is cleaned later canal is filled with filling material. Tooth is finally completed with filling or covering.

When the tooth decay treatment is delayed, serious infections and irreversible damage may occur. In this case, canal is treated, and loss of tooth is prevented.
